The Abandoned Office Game

You wake up after applying for a job in marketing management. It's the office building you work in...but something's wrong. The building is small, dark, there's no entrance or exit, nobody is there, and there's a monster hiding in a dark corner!

To navigate between floors, you must utilize a central elevator that is totally out of your control. Plus, you must avoid The Monster, a strange being that will stop at nothing to kill you if it detects you nearby. It's weakness? That's for you to discover.

The office has a set of puzzles you must complete: Opener, Manuscript, and Evaluation. The puzzles themselves are simple enough once you understand them, but a first-timer won't find easy pickings when trying to understand the surprisingly vague hints granted to them.

Exploring the office is no easy feat either. Dark, dingy, and full of objects that will make traversal far more difficult, any hope of exploration is dependent on your own motivation.

This game was made for "My First Game Jam Summer 2023", and although being an hour late, still made it in as a late submission! Thank you Iysander for the heads-up! Hopefully you enjoy playing this game as much as I did making it.
